This sounds divine! I go rage litterpicking a few times a week and it just baffles me that people drop litter. Why don't they care?! The "every man for themselves" attitude that started decades ago created a rotten core and we're all feeling the impact of it now.

I recently visited Japan with her brother and had exactly the same feelings about both Japanese life and the declining state of our existence on these shores. Fortunately, I live in Brittany now. Not as special as Osaka, Tokyo or Kyoto, but is a few hours from "home".
